The Creative Yoke Dress was conceived in order to explore the creative possibilities of that most basic of children’s designs, the basic yoke dress. The book emphasizes creative yokes. Because of this, each dress is identified and named by the design of its yoke. In turn, each yoke may be treated in a multitude of ways. For example, each yoke is suitable for a christening gown by lengthening the dress or each yoke may be made sleeveless for either a summer dress or pinafore. There are a multitude of possibilities, limited only by your imagnination.
