This blouse is a very good pattern to make as is or for a jumping off point for as many variations as you can think of. It’s high collar makes it perfect for reproducing Victorian and Edwardian lace blouses. Or for example you could leave off the jabot or add the smocked one designed by Susan York as seen in Sew Beautiful in 1996. Pattern contains two collar variations, high neck or round collar, plus three different jabots. A classic look which can be adapted to recreate Victorian blouses, a very feminine addition to your wardrobe.
