Dottie's Day Dress Description:
Sizes 1-8.
The front is constructed of one piece of fabric and features smocking to the shoulder on either side of a center box pleat. Back has a plain bodice attached to a skirt, and optional belt. This pattern can also be used for a smocked-to-the-shoulder dress without the center box pleat. Any fabric that can be pleated is suitable for making Dottie’s Day Dress – use fine cottons and linens with delicate trims for a dressy look; try broadcloth, chambray, or oxford cloth for a more casual look.
