Lacy Daygown & Christening Dress pattern is a special heirloom sewing project. Vertical lace insertion is placed between the smocking for a special gore effect. This same treatment is repeated on the bonnet. The sleeves are banded or smocked & tirmmed w/lace edging. Lace edging is gathered along the scalloped hem. Delicate embroidery can embellish the lower edge of the center front panel. The slip pattern included is finished on all edges with lace edging.
